Recently I was debating the importance of observing the Sabbath with a friend and I was trying to explain how Jesus, The Lord of the Sabbath, was willing to break gods law not only to save a life but to improve ones health (ie. a blind or lame man).
When it hit me that Jesus example should also be applied to blood transfusions. The "LAWS" were mute when the health or life of a person was at stake. No law is more important than showing love to your fellow man (other than loving god). To me that is clear.

i've been getting a really weird vibe lately...today it was confirmed that i will be shunned from here on out from them.
This sucks.

ok so when i finally didnt care, i did attend a jc, but i wanted closure, deep down i actually wanted them to df me.
- has anyone else been in this scenario, and what did you say at your jc that ensured the right action was taken.. they asked me how i felt about my relationship with jehovah - i simply said, i dont feel anything since i dont have one.
i dont pray, i dont study, and i dont show much interest.
A family member of mine was before a JC and they asked if he thought he had a drinking problem. He told them that he was probably going to be able to answer that question better when he wasn't drunk. They asked him to step outside so they could talk and he left and went to the bar.
He did not appeal.

this weekend at the circuit assembly, (i stayed home, thank goodness), i heard a nine year -old girl was baptized.
and she seems a bit mature for her age, but hardly mature enough,in my opinion, to make such a choice on her own.
it seems to be a trend in our circuit right now.
This is shocking to me too. If Jesus who was a perfect human had to wait until he was 30 years old to be baptized, doesn't it make you think that he was setting an example. I believe John the baptist was 30 too. So why does the ORG ignore this??
